Gujarati Samaj Bhavans (Mini Gujarat, outside Gujarat)

The Government of Gujarat has a mission to create a Pan-India network of Gujarati Samaj Bhavans. These Samaj Bhavans established all over the nation promote active community gatherings for NRGs, serve as a link to their homeland, as also contribute to the progress of their adopted state through philanthropic initiatives.

Government of Gujarat has introduced a scheme extending financial assistance to Gujarati Samaj all over India. Financial Aid has been increased as per below.

• To build up/ purchase/ expansion of Gujarati Samaj Bhavan Financial Aid up to ₹40.00 lac or 40% of the actual expenditure whichever is less.
• To repair/ renovation of Gujarati Samaj Bhavan Financial Aid up to ₹ 10.00 lac or 40% of the actual expenditure whichever is less. 

To date, 18 Samajs have benefited from this scheme.

The Gujarati Samaj Bhavans are microcosms of little Gujarat dotting the country and binding the Gujarati community.
